A week dominated by inflation and data
by 17 May 2021-
This is the ActivTrades weekly. Every Monday we analyze the economic calendar, and identify key events focusing on how they may impact the markets.
This week we will look at the European GDP data, British inflation numbers, and more. We are starting the review by looking at the EU, GDP data for the first quarter. Economic activity have been greatly affected by the world pandemic, and even though that we can see positive signs of handling the pandemic, Q1 data should still be weak. Expectations are for a 0.65%, relatively to the previous quarter. A strong figure will improve the confidence of the investor in the European assets.
