DAX record run: are the bulls running out of gas?

Record Chase in the DAX: Are the Bulls Running Out of Breath Just Short of the 26,000-Point Mark?

The German leading index remains in a frenzy, celebrating its next historic all-time high! However, following the rapid breakout, the first signs of fatigue are showing on the trading floor, and prices have crumbled slightly from their absolute record level. Now, the all-important question arises for all market participants: Do the bulls have enough strength to whip the index directly past the next gigantic milestone of 26,000 points without detours? Or is it technically imperative for the DAX to take a deep breath and correct significantly in order to gather new momentum for the next explosive surge?

Industry Flight and Political Frustration: Is Berlin Slowing Down the Ultimate Stock Market Rally?

The fate of the further rally depends massively on a toxic mix of geopolitical and national crises. While the permanent flashpoints in Iran and Ukraine hover over the markets like a sword of Damocles, the creeping exodus of industry from Germany is causing acute stomach aches. Although the current federal government in Berlin is gradually daring to tackle unpopular, tough economic policy decisions, the final resolutions far too often turn out to be toothless compromises based on the lowest common denominator. Unfortunately, there is still absolutely no sign of a genuine, liberating economic breakthrough for Germany as a business location!

Deutsche Börse Ignites the Turbo: Healthy Foundation or Calm Before the Storm?

On the individual stock floor, a remarkably balanced picture emerged on Monday. The DAX salvaged a wafer-thin plus of 0.15% across the finish line. The field was sovereignly led by Deutsche Börse, which shone with a strong premium of around 2.0%. In the fiercely contested runner-up spots followed Hannover Rück (+0.7%) and Scout24 (+0.6%). Even the tail-ender, Symrise, recorded only a moderate minus of 1.8%. This extremely dense market breadth testifies to a healthy foundation. Nevertheless, the "uncharted area" urges absolute caution: The upward breakout remains sustainably intact, but sudden, sometimes extended corrections remain a real danger at these record heights at any time. For today's trading day, investors are likely facing a tough, mixed stalemate!
