DAX hits new record high

Another new record high in the DAX

The DAX's record hunt continued Monday at the start of the new trading week. Another new record high was marked, although the trading day was volatile, i.e. investors also had to go through a short energetic tilt of the DAX. At that moment, it was easy to guess how quickly it can go downhill and the air is gradually getting thinner.

EU breathes a sigh of relief for the time being

The DAX was able to breathe a sigh of relief for the time being, because the tariffs, which Donald Trump keeps bringing into play, are not happening for the time being. Priorities are initially given to trade relations with China and its own neighbors Mexico and China. In typical Trump fashion, the new US president issued a veritable decree of fireworks at the start of his presidency, reversing several laws of the Biden administration, which Trump described as the worst administration in history. In the case of individual stocks, this had a positive impact on car stocks, which were driven by great concerns that possible US tariffs would put further pressure on the entire industry and that political hurdles could be added in addition to strong competition.

Breathe a sigh of relief for automotive stocks - Siemens Energy changeable

The result was that Daimler Truck Holding and BMW shares appeared in the top three stocks and were able to close the trading day with profits. The share of Daimler Truck Holding rose by 2.9 percent and the share of BMW closed with a gain of 2.8 percent. The day's winner was Commerzbank with a price premium of 3.0 percent. Bringing up the rear of the day was Siemens Energy, which simply does not manage to leave its flat correction to the upside and continues to follow profit-taking at the resistance. However, as long as the stock can be held in the trading range, the chances are good that a positive breakout can occur.
