The US dollar got losses against the other currencies
As expected, the US dollar suffered losses against the other major currencies, following the FOMC policy statement on Wednesday, as the Fed once again shrugged aside inflationary concerns, focusing instead on how beneficial its current dovish stance is for the growth of the global economy. As a result, the Dollar Index dropped to levels not seen since late February as investors continued to unwind positions built during March, when the markets had priced-in the possibility of an earlier tapering by the Fed.
